Accelerated LPN to RN Online Bridge Program | Video Classroom
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO TAKE AN ONLINE NURSING COURSE?
Content experts and university faculty members create the study materials and online classes for Distance Learning Systems. You and your classmates interact with the tutor and other students across the nation through our online classroom. We are now offering LIVE video classroom! We are the first and only to provide the opportunity of attending class from the comfort of your own home. The video classroom allows you to interact within the live lecture time. This also gives you the opportunity to take courses at your own pace — at any time and from any place you have Internet access. If you cannot make the live video class time, a recorded video of the class will be in the online classroom for you. LPNs, LVNs, Respiratory Therapist, and Paramedics qualify to take this accelerated RN bride program!*
There is not much difference between a traditional, classroom-based course and an online course. Both types of courses have definitive start and end dates. Our course tutorials range from 4 weeks to 10 weeks depending on the course and content that you need to cover to satisfactorily prepare for the exam. You will do many of the same activities online that you would do in a traditional class — read texts, take notes, ask questions, write papers (especially in English Comp), and have discussions. All the class discussions and materials are delivered to you online.
The significant difference between the two types of classes is that, instead of meeting in a classroom at a specific time each week throughout the course, you, your classmates and your tutor will be connected by DLSI’s system, video class, servers, and your personal computer via the Internet. You do not have to “go” to your online class at a scheduled time each week. If your schedule conflicts with the live lecture time, a recorded version will be available for you to view. Instructors respond to questions outside of class with in 48 hours throughout the week. You can even take a tour of the online classroom before you enroll! If you are interested in enrolling or want more information about how you can become an RN through our online video classes, please contact a Regional Program Administrator at 888-955-3276. You can also watch our YouTube Videos for more information!
